Finding that song

Have you ever found a song that fit perfectly for your mood? I often find myself relating to music a lot. Perhaps it's because I spent much of my childhood dancing to it... or that I'm typically an emotional mess and finding a good sappy song heals me! Whatever the case may be, it's always nice to find something that soothes a bad day or a bad mood and sets me straight. I sometimes wonder if I'm the only person that thinks these things. Ha... *strange sarcastic laugh..*

The song of the day: Speeding Cars - Imogen Heap

Speeding Cars has been a favorite for the past couple of weeks. I discovered Imogen Heap really when I started to listen heavily to Jason Derulo's "Whatcha Say" and there was the clip from Imogen Heap on there.... after researching as I typically do (a thirst for knowledge about things that are usually quite senseless) I found Speeding Cars among a few others that I liked a lot. Then I found the lyrics, studied, listened, put the music together and ta-da! Perfect song for a not-so-productive day such as this!

This is how it all works... the music thing. Also, how I discover most music I like. I listen to your popular run of the mill music, but I find the not so popular stuff my researching. Maurice thinks my taste is "cool". I'm sure others would think not.

The best part of this whole musical research thing I do is actually meeting the artists. That has happened three times. Two of which are now very famous and will remain unnamed. The third is definitely on their way and is quite popular on http://www.youtube.com. You might know of him - Chris Cendana. His videos are here: http://www.youtube.com/ccendana.

Alright - that's all for now. I need graphic design and scrapbooking ideas and Linkin Park just came on :)
